CNT has been monitoring the performance of eight stormwater BMPs since 2007. Local, regional, and national regulators are considering how much to allow and credit green infrastructure applications as compliance with Clean Water Act and related permit requirements. CNT’s monitoring, along with other efforts, offers insight into how these sustainable water practices work in NE IL and can help contribute to effective clean water policy. Bill and Steve will report on the results of their work. They will also report on progress being made on an inventory of green infrastructure throughout the Chicago region.
