Malcolm Boyle

Mr. Boyle, as senior engineer, manages the ADOP2T (Accelerated Diffusion of Pollution Prevention Technologies) Programs for the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC).  He is responsible for overseeing the ADOP2T activities, involving on-site pollution prevention (P2) assessments of facilities and implementation of P2 projects.  Mr. Boyle works closely with ISTC's P2 Group in Oak Brook, Champaign, Alton, and Peoria offices; and industry personnel to implement P2 technologies that improve industrial processes from environmental, quality, and efficiency perspectives.  Mr. Boyle, along with the Chicago/Oak Brook office, provides technical assistance in P2, waste management, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Boyle holds Bachelor Degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, both from the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa.  He also holds Masters Degrees in Computer Science and Environmental Engineering, both from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago.  He has extensive industrial and environmental experience in the power, defense, precision parts manufacturing, and printing industries.
