Tim Lindsey is Associate Director of the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center’s Technical Assistance Program. He supervises a staff of 15 engineers and scientists that perform research and assist with implementation of innovative technologies that improve sustainability.

Dr. Lindsey has been with the Center since 1991 and has produced numerous publications on pollution prevention technologies and methods for promoting adoption of innovative sustainability practices. He was previously employed at one of the nation's largest energy processing facilities for Exxon for a total of six years and served as an Environmental consultant for 5 years.

He received his B.S. (1979) and M.S. (1980) in Environmental Science from Southern Illinois University and his Ph.D. (1998) in Environmental Planning from the University of Illinois.
