Volatile Organics, Including BTEX

Volatile organic compounds which can be effectively purged from water are analyzed with a Tekmar Purge and Trap unit coupled to a GC. The BTEX compounds, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene, fall into this category. The Tekmar unit is designed to analyze both water and soil samples. In addition, we have provided semiquantitative volatile compound analysis of ground plant tissues on our system. The instrument is capable of determining many volatile analytes at concentrations less than 1ppb in water or soil.
