Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2009 Illinois Governor's Sustainability Awards.
Your organization will be judged on the strength of your application. It is extremely important that you be as complete and descriptive as possible. If possible, include real numbers and concrete results from your efforts. Applications must be submitted by May 29, 2009.
Before beginning the on-line application, be sure to have:
The applicant should CAREFULLY review and confirm what they are submitting. ISTC can only review and consider the information received by the deadline, and we are not responsible for incomplete or incorrect information submitted by applicants.
You may submit up to and no more than six pages of narrative/descriptive material. This narrative should address any of our evaluation criteria relevant to your organization.
You should include an approximately 250-word abstract of the project. The abstract will be used in news releases and the program book for winning entries.
Summary reports or other supporting documents totaling no more than four pages may be included. This should not be additional narrative. Examples of appropriate supporting materials are copies of fliers used to promote your project internally or charts/graphs showing results of your efforts.
