Zuleima is a Business Development Specialist at the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center. She works within the Technical Assistance Program (TAP) engaging and maintaining relationships with business and communities for the purpose of evaluating their sustainability needs and generating projects to address these needs.

Prior to joining ISTC, Zuleima was a graduate research assistant at the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center in Chicago, where she focused on social entrepreneurship. She also has experience in corporate positions as planning analyst and project manager. In addition to her social and sustainability work, she has actively been involved in nonprofit organizations such as Urban Rivers, Net Impact, Illinois Green and Doctors Without Borders.
